Welcome to Ovelha Acres.

Ovelha means sheep in Portuguese. My daughter Seneca and I raise the sheep together, we have raised several different breeds of sheep. Our herd consist of Teeswater, Wensleydales, Cormo and Lincoln. We love the curly locks and have recently been increasing our Teeswater Sheep.

Teeswater Sheep are a rare breed here in the United States. That is one of the things we enjoy about them. We have had to start with foundation Ewes and breed up with imported semen. I have been lucky enough to collect a beautiful starter flock of 96% plus ewes from Roy and Myrtle Dow.

I enjoy getting to know the people who create with my wool. We offer quality wool in many beautiful colors. The Teeswater Sheep lovely curly locks make the most beautiful creations. Visit our "Wool For Sale" Page.

Being raised around animals all my life and growing up on a large ranch in Southern Oregon, has given me years of experience of sheep, cattle and horses. We love being around animals and our passion for them shows in the kindness and quality of our sheep. Our operation is much smaller than growing up on a ranch, it allows my daughters (Seneca, Vashti, and Rozlynn) and I to work together and have a more personal touch with each animal.
